Details: How to make lightly pickled Japanese vegetables:
1. Wash about 10 to 15 ounces of your favorite vegetables (about 4-5 cucumbers) and cut them into bite-sized pieces. 2. Put the vegetables and one 10 gram bag of pickling powder in a storage bag, mix well, remove the air from the bag and seal. 3. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours (or overnight for a deeper flavor). Lightly drain and enjoy!
For super quick pickling, try mixing 10-15 ounces of vegetables and rub vigorously with one 10 gram pickling powder packet. Marinate for 30 minutes and enjoy!
Use to make shiozuke and asazuke!
