
Stir-Fried Cabbage and Pork with Amazake Miso

Ingredients
- Thinly sliced pork: 200g (7 oz)
- Cabbage: 150g (5.3 oz)
- Grated garlic: 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil: As needed
- [A] Amazake (a sweet fermented rice drink): 3 tablespoons
- [A] Miso: 2 tablespoons

Preparation
- Roughly chop the cabbage and cut the thinly sliced pork into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over low heat and add the grated garlic. Once the garlic becomes fragrant, increase to medium heat and add the pork, stirring to cook.
- Once the pork changes color, remove it from the pan and add the cabbage, stir-frying until cooked through.
- Return the pork to the pan, add ingredients [A], and stir-fry everything together until well combined.
Notes
If you cannot find amazake, you can substitute with a mixture of sake and sugar, though the flavor will differ.
