
Matcha Amazake
Dissolve the matcha in a small amount of hot water before mixing it with the amazake. If you add matcha directly to the amazake, it may not mix well and could form lumps.

Ingredients
- Kojiya Satomura Rice and Rice Koji Amazake (a sweet, non-alcoholic Japanese drink made from fermented rice): 150ml (5 fl oz)
- Matcha (finely ground green tea powder): 2/3 teaspoon
- Hot water: 1 tablespoon

Preparation
- Dissolve the matcha well in the hot water.
- Add the amazake to the dissolved matcha and mix well to combine. It's ready to serve. *For a warm version, add heated amazake.
Notes
If you cannot find amazake, you might try using a sweet rice milk as a substitute, though the flavor will differ.
