Banana Soy Milk Amazake Frappe

Use small ice cubes if possible. When making multiple servings, be careful not to overfill the blender as it may not mix well.

  • Ingredients

    • Kojiya Satomura Rice and Rice Koji Amazake (a sweet, non-alcoholic fermented rice drink): 100ml (3.4 fl oz)
    • Sweetened soy milk (unsweetened soy milk is also fine): 100ml (3.4 fl oz)
    • Banana: 1
    • Ice: As needed
  • Preparation

    • Peel the banana and cut it into small pieces to make it easier to blend.
    • Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
    • Pour the mixture into a glass.
    • Optionally, add more ice for a refreshing drink.
    • This recipe is for one serving, so multiply the ingredients by the number of servings needed.

Notes

If you cannot find amazake, you can substitute with a mixture of rice milk and a bit of honey, though the flavor will differ.
